About this role
Supports public programs at the Frank N. Bash Visitors Center by welcoming visitors, presenting astronomy and science information, assisting with daytime and evening programs, setting up and operating program spaces or equipment, handling guest questions, and supporting reservations, events, and facility operations.
Requirements
Strong public-speaking and customer-service skills; enthusiasm for science and astronomy; ability to learn and explain technical information to diverse audiences; dependable computer and organizational skills; and availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and work at a remote location.
