About this role

Performs skilled mechanical and facilities work supporting the observatory’s remote research campus, including inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication, and repair of vehicles, machinery, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. Documents work and responds to operational needs.

Requirements

Relevant mechanical, industrial, HVAC, electrical, automotive, or facilities-trades experience; ability to diagnose and repair equipment, safely use shop tools, read technical information, perform physical work at altitude and in varied weather, and maintain a valid driver’s license. Trade credentials are preferred where applicable.
