Prepares operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and sterile fields; assists the surgical team before, during, and after procedures; performs counts and maintains aseptic technique; handles specimens and equipment; and supports room turnover and inventory control.

Graduate of an accredited surgical-technology program; current surgical-technologist certification preferred or required by the posting; BLS certification; knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation; and ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced operating-room setting.
