Assesses and treats patients with cardiopulmonary conditions; administers oxygen, aerosol, ventilator, airway, and diagnostic therapies; responds to emergencies and codes; monitors treatment effectiveness; maintains equipment; and documents care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients.

Graduate of an accredited respiratory-care program; current Texas respiratory-care license and professional credential as required; BLS certification, with ACLS or PALS preferred; competence with ventilators and emergency care; and availability for flexible or set hospital shifts.
