About the Position We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual to help maintain a private wildlife ranch and its facilities. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, operating equipment, and taking pride in keeping a property in excellent condition. The position will begin part-time as a trial period, with the opportunity to become a full-time, long-term role for the right person. Responsibilities *Maintain ranch houses, cabins, and other buildings, including basic plumbing, appliance, and general handyman repairs. *Inspect and maintain wildlife waters, feed stations, fencing, gates, and other ranch infrastructure. *Troubleshoot and maintain ranch water systems. *Perform road maintenance, brush clearing, mowing, weed control, and general property upkeep. *Operate and maintain ranch equipment including trucks, skid steers, ATVs, trailers, and power tools. *Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and report repair needs. *Monitor overall ranch conditions and provide regular updates to the Operations Manager. *Assist with seasonal projects and other maintenance tasks as needed. Every day is different, and the ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats to help keep the ranch operating smoothly. Compensation Competitive pay based on experience. Part-time to start with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.
Requirements
Qualifications *Experience in ranch, property, facilities, construction, or general maintenance preferred. *Strong handyman and troubleshooting skills. *Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate equipment. *Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. *Dependable, organized, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. *Valid driver's license required
