Plans and teaches age-appropriate music instruction across Pre-K through grade 12; develops performance, theory, listening, and appreciation skills; assesses progress; directs rehearsals and performances; maintains instruments and materials; and supports school events and programs.
Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas teaching certificate with the appropriate music endorsement or eligibility; strong musicianship, instructional, classroom-management, and performance-direction skills; and completion of district credential and background requirements.
